# Glossary Identifiers and codes used across the REST API and the WebSocket channels. ## Exchanges Each exchange has a numeric `exchangeId` and a short code. | Exchange | `exchangeId` | Short code | RFQ settlement | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Deribit | `17` | `DBT` | Yes | | Bullish | `25` | `BULL` | Yes | | Derive | `26` | `DRV` | Yes | | OKX | `5` | `OKX` | Yes, inverse (coin-settled) products only | - `exchangeId` identifies the exchange when you [add exchange credentials](/apis/rest/openapi-modular/account/createexchangecredentials), and is returned with them. - The short code is returned as `exchangeShortCode` on exchange credentials, and is the [settlement option](#settlement-options) for RFQs and quotes. ## Settlement options A settlement option is the short code of the exchange an RFQ trade settles on. RFQs can settle on `DBT`, `BULL`, `DRV` and `OKX`. `OKX` is only available on RFQs for inverse (coin-settled) products, such as `BTC-27MAR26-116000-C`; an RFQ for linear products that includes `OKX` is refused. An RFQ lists the settlement options it accepts in `settlementOptions`, and each quote picks one of them in `settlementOption`. To quote or trade on a settlement option you need exchange credentials for that exchange. Quote prices are in the quote currency of the chosen settlement option, given in the RFQ's `quoteCurrencies`. `DBT` lists both coin-settled (e.g. `BTC`) and USDC-settled options, `OKX` lists coin-settled options only, and `BULL` and `DRV` list USDC-settled options only.
